Container entirely made of brass. There is an octagonal bi-dented frieze on the base, and above it is a lock. The key may still be seen inside the container. The rim of the lid slightly overlaps the base. The handle is fixed to a rectangular engraved dome. The design is shaped to form an elongated letter « E ». At each side of the handle is a large knob. The inside of the container is divided into two compartments, the larger one being for the leaves.
