Cast-iron betel cutter. Our first cutter in this metal.

Very simple design featuring a bird. The two branches join with a clinch which also forms the bird’s eye. The beak opens when the cutter is used.

There is no iron blade, it is the sharp cast-iron that cuts the areca nut. The upper part of handles is silver sheathed, the finials are round.
